haircut tips

Elise is booked in for her 1st haircut on tuesday. having only had boys before who are done with the clippers any tips on how to keep an almost 2 year old still while they snip would be great.

And as i am getting ellen done soon too, would appreciate the help too!

Know am going to get bad responses about this - but a lollipop or bag of sweets / crisps usually works.
Distraction is the best key - ask if they can hold a brush or help somehow.

Usually if you take to a professional hairdressers which deal with children, they are used to it and often have there own distraction techniques.

If they scream - you could always hold them on your lap but you will get covered in hair!!

well she sat on my knee and screamed through the whole thing
but she looks so much better now.
thanks for the ideas we took all sorts of distraction including crisps but she was having non shes the same with the doctor.
